Yesterday, I took part in running a camp the took me half the jun hols and term 3 to plan.
Redemptio Investigators Space Academy.
Doing all the science demos for p6 students is very agonising as they seem to be paying more attention to the box of dry ice than me. I can't believe i'm less interesting than dry ice.
Also, some groups of students are very hard to handle. One group was talking cock about "swirlies" (ask me in school) and the RGPS girls blatantly refused to do the daphnia experiment cos "it will hurt the daphnias! cruelty to animals"
Goddammit, they're not even animals ><
And a very memorable event. During interaction, i address KSP as uncle siak peng. Then i dared the p6's to call KMK Aunty Miew Kheng.
Then i heard that throughout the quantitative chem lab they were pestering kailun "who's aunty miew kheng? who's aunty miew kheng?"
And kua miew kheng was standing right next to them.
If that isnt epic win i don't know what is.
After the camp siak peng treated us all to ice creamm and we took a group photo outside j8 conveniently blocking the entrance.
Then we played bridge at subway for 2 hours, in which i lost a game where between me and my partner we had all the aces and half the kings and queens.
One epic win and one epic fail. Not a bad day.
